Aikido Of Berkeley - Fall Seminar - Common Ground Sign Up

October 29, Tuesday, 6:30pm - 8:00pm Tadao Koshiyama -- Sandan Exam​
Tadao Koshiyama will take a Sandan exam (third degree black belt).
Please come and observe even if you’re not participating. Sandan is an immensely important rank and Tadao has worked hard and been a student of mine for many years.
We will go to the Mexican restaurant close to the dojo after the test.

October 31, Thursday, 5:00pm - 6:00 PM Kids Halloween Party​
ALL KIDS IN JUNIORS CLASS, TEENS CLASS AND LITTLE WARRIORS (adults if you feel like it) are invited!!
We will celebrate Halloween at the dojo.
 Wear costumes if you’d like to, uniforms (gis) or street clothes. Come with spooky stories, bring easy to serve snacks (home made cookies are always popular) sushi, juice, etc… 
We will play Halloween music, maybe some Aiki games and mostly have fun and a time for the kids to bond outside of regular class curriculum.

November 14 and 15, Thursday and Firday. Regular Class Times -- Adam Hosie classes

November 16 and 17, Saturday and Sunday, 10:00am - 12:00 PM -- Adam Hosie Seminar

Thursday and Friday, November 14 and 15, Adam Hosie Sensei will teach our regularly scheduled classes with the exception of Friday 12:00pm Adam Hosie will be teaching the Thursday morning advanced class, Thursday evening class and Friday evening class. Sensei Feder will be in attendance.
If you are a registered AoB student, YOU DO NOT need to pay a mat fee for any class Adam Hosie is teaching that takes place during AoB regularly scheduled classes.
The weekend seminar classes are from 10:00am -12:00pm and 2:00pm -5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Our wonderful Basic weapons class 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Saturday with Mike Estrada teaching WILL take place as usual.
Iaido and Ropukai Juijuitsu are CANCELED on Sunday Nov 17.
NOTE:
Aikido of Berkeley Students DO NOT need to pay a mat fee for the Saturday and Sunday morning sessions, as Adam Sensei understands that we have not experienced him before. This means that you will only need to pay for his afternoon sessions on Saturday and Sunday, if you’d like to experience more of his practices.

NOVEMBER 27-DECEMBER 1 --Thanksgiving Holiday - NO CLASSES

There will be no scheduled classes from Nobember 27 through December first. Take some time to practice gratitude, with your friends and family.

December 7 - Nidan Exams

Aikido of Berkeley is proud to have three of our members testing for their Nidan rank (Second degree black belt). Please join us as three of our members test for Nidan.

December 7 - Adult Holiday Party

Our Holiday Party wil be held at the home of John Franscious . See the dojo bulletin board for directions and start times and Pot Luck ideas.

December 19 - Kids Holiday Potluck Party 5-6 PM

All of the kids and teens class students and parents are invited to the dojo for a pot luck holiday party.

December 23- January 5 Aikido of Berkeley Closed for Winter Holidays

There will be no scheduled classes from December 23 through January 5, 2025. This gives us all and the Dojo itself time off to rest, celebrate the new year and get ready for the another great year of Aikido.
