About Jan Nevelius:
Jan Nevelius Shihan, 7th Dan Aikikai, is based at Vanadis Aikido Dojo in Stockholm, Sweden and has practiced Aikido for over 50 years. While his primary teachers are Seishiro Endo Sensei and Christian Tissier Sensei, Jan Sensei has also trained with and been strongly influenced by Hermansson Sensei, the elder Osawa Sensei, and Yamaguchi Sensei. Jan Sensei emphasizes connection, soft ukemi, and an approach to Aikido as never-ending research. His practice is also influenced by his decades long practice of acupuncture, Qigong, and Shiatsu.
