Kangeiko is a tradition in Japanese martial arts at the coldest time in the winter.
We practice as often as we can for one week.
There will be a 6:30 AM class each week day morning and a noon class every day.
Kids, teens , and adults are welcome to participate.
We will do intention setting on January 26th at both 6:30 AM class and 6:30 PM on our first day of our Kangeiko
Every year, near the death date of Morihei Ueshiba the founder of the art of Aikido we hold special training to honor him.
This year, Guy Stevens an instructor at Aikido of Berkeley will be leading us through the 108 practice. A meditative practice where we each do 108 repetitions of the same technique, in silence.
The class starts at 6:30 pm. Please be early to this class, so that there are as few interruptions of the silence and practice as possible.
There will be a potluck on the patio immediately following the training.
