Kaeshiwaza Class + Fire Victim Fundraiser
Friday, December 7, 2018 at 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Kayla Feder Sensei, 6th dan & Aikido of Berkeley are excited to offer a special event supporting victims of the recent fires in Northern California, with “An Evening of Kaeshiwaza.”

Kaeshiwaza, also known as reversals, or “counter techniques,” is an area of aikido study that brings together traditional techniques, ukemi, kuzushi, and a special attention to openings and martial vulnerabilities, with playful “takemusu aiki” creativity! Kayla Sensei will teach a system for exploring these openings built on her training with Morihiro Saito Sensei and her 45 years on the mat.

WHERE: Aikido of Berkeley, 1514 University Ave, Berkeley CA 94703
